The 64,498 sf Student Center is an innovative high-performance building with optimum functionality and maximum flexibility. The 2-story structure houses various administrative departments, including Student Services, Counseling, Financial Aid, and Admissions.
This LEED Gold building utilizes a PV system and features a sustainable design where 75% of the workspace uses natural light. The exterior includes sunscreens and roof overhangs for shaded areas, serving as communal spaces for students and faculty.
As part of a 5-building project, the layout encourages foot traffic with corridors leading to a north/south pedestrian spine for easy access to the campus and public transportation.
