The new two-story Office Building is designed to reflect the character of the Riverside region while supporting the District’s daily operations. Sloping rooflines inspired by the surrounding mountains and a stone influenced base create a grounded and identifiable presence within the existing campus.
Planned to achieve a Zero Net Energy design goal, the building incorporates durable, low carbon materials and photovoltaic ready roof areas that support long term sustainability and efficient performance.
Inside, Building 6 provides essential workplace spaces including offices, open work areas, meeting rooms, breakrooms, and a large training and dispatch room. Abundant natural light and clear interior organization create a functional, welcoming environment that supports staff productivity and well being.
