The renovation of the City of Carlsbad’s Emergency Operations Center transformed 6,530 sf of existing office space within the Police and Fire Headquarters Campus into a modern emergency response facility supporting Community Risk Reduction and Emergency Operations. The project introduced upgraded technology and communications infrastructure, conference and coordination spaces, and operational support areas designed to enhance emergency preparedness and interdepartmental coordination.

Designed to support the City’s long term resiliency and operational needs, the renovation also included upgraded mechanical, electrical, lighting, security, and technology systems to improve overall performance and reliability. Careful phasing and coordination allowed critical public safety operations to remain active throughout construction.
