The new 18,000 sf Ramona Sheriff’s Station is designed to support the County of San Diego’s expanding public safety and emergency response needs within the Ramona community. Delivered through a Progressive Design-Build approach, the facility includes administrative offices, detainee processing, evidence and records storage, interview rooms, staff support spaces, and secure operational areas designed to enhance functionality, safety, and long term adaptability for Sheriff personnel and the public.
Designed for LEED Gold and Zero Net Energy performance, the project incorporates sustainable strategies focused on energy efficiency, resiliency, and reduced embodied carbon. The design carefully balances the operational requirements of a modern law enforcement facility with a welcoming civic presence that reflects the character of the surrounding community.
